Watercooled GPU temps

So i loaded up black light retribution and it shot up to 100° C!! On the start screen.

that can't be possible.... right?

what app is monitoring the temperatures?

it is possible.. with 30°+ ambient..

When i rad 3d mark vantage i only had like 60. is it possible for false readings in those programs. 

there isnt even hot air in the rad nor is the case ambient temp hot at all.

yes it is possible.. because at 100° the GPU will simply throttle down till temp

reaches a safe temperature. it takes a lil time to get the device temperature

into the water, then into the rad, then the fans carry it out.

So do you recommend i play a game for a while to see how my readings go?

after some more research i have decided to re seat my card. Its obvious ive done something wrong
