this happened a few times now, one of my screen just turns black (off) for a few sec. and then just go backs to normal.

since both my monitors are in the same gpu , i'm doubting my gpu is going dead on me, because then both screens should do that at the same time?

any ideas?

Check the connections. Power plugs and all that. Simplest thing I can think of.

Change what input you're using on your GPU and Monitor.

Open the monitor and check for any loose connections.

Monitor dying?

My best guesses but I'm by no means an expert on this topic. I know close to nothing.

Check for driver updates, cables. Test on a different monitor, or different gpu.

Edit: Does it give a message saying "display driver has stopped working but has recovered"?

Test the monitor on a different pc or laptop. How often does it happen?

it has happend a few times over a few weeks now. And usually it's when i"m doing nothing, there are no problems when gaming or something. So it really isn't my gpu(s) , because watch dogs stresses the hell out of them.

Test is on a laptop or another desktop. If it does it still, it s the monitor...

Edit: if not, its something from your pc.
