Hello,

After moving to Canada 2 months ago its now time to build my pc. Never attempted water cooling before some here to ask a few things.

Parts

Silverstones FT03

EVGA 780 6GB super clocked

I5-4670K

Z97 Asus gryphon

Corsair RM 650 W psu

1) The FT03 has room for a 160mm rad and a 120mm rad both able to operate in push/pull do I want high or low density for the limited radiator real estate.

2) can anyone recommend any tube res/pump combos?

3) Is a WC loop power hungry? I originally was going to run a 550 rm PSU but I wasn't sure about the WC loop.

Any suggestions you guys can give would be awesome. Thanks in advance

Rico

For something as small as that, I'm not sure which pump/red combo will fit. Swiftechs pumpblocks might help you save more space.

I think bitspower makes a tiny microres DDC pump top. That should be pretty tiny, but I've heard they are a pain to fill.

As far as power draw, pumps would probably add around 10 or so watts, so its somewhat negligible. You can try checking a PSU calculator to see how much of a difference they make.

As far as the fin density, I don't see very many people getting dual 80mm rads, which is what I assume a 160 rad is.

I think you should try to get the thickest 120 rad you can instead, but that is only my opinion.
