Happy birthday.

Also, I have a Dell Venue 8 Pro which I got for $175 (64GB) It was refurbed but works fine and is an amazing full windows 8.1 tablet.

They have a more updated version of the Nexus 7 but the older version is much cheaper. Is the newer updated one worth the extra monies? Or are they about the same? Haven't had hands on with either to really know of any difference. Also is there maybe another that you would recomened? Don't have much tablet experience in general, but the nexus 7 is only $120 on Newegg. Thanks!

oh yes it is definitely worth the money. i have used both and the 2013 model is definitely better.

the snapdragon S4 Pro chip that is in it is actually a under clocked Snapdragon 600.the same chip that is in the HTC one(m7) (not sure why asus and google did that but that is what it is.)

wow, thanks. def worth it at that price. Thanks!

Before you spend money on a tablet, make sure you're actually going to use it. If you mainly go on your desktop at home, don't expect to use it at home. Maybe if you have other places and needs for it, then it should be fine, but I bought one of these and realized I didn't really have a need for it. Luckily my mom wanted one and bought mine from me.

2nd generation all the way. you get much more value out of it than the price difference is. Nevertheless the 1st Gen is still a great deal if you can't afford/refuse to pay the extra
