My brother's APU based system (A6 5600K, 4GB 1866 RAM, onboard graphics) can play WoW on max settings...You're an ignorant dick.

Also, please use proper punctuation. I had to re-read "Wow won't be max'ed out you must be clueless to come up with this." a few times just to understand you. Same with "Don't respond can't be arsed arguing with people who have no basic understanding of hardware."

Learn to read max'ing the game out or the gpu are two different things. And to fix your punctuation; I had to re-read: "..".

Since you can't prove your nonsense that 4770k's aren't a bottleneck. Lets get some video's out:

BF3 gets worse:

Max'ing WoW out in a 25m raid with that APU, only in your fantasy world. There's no way you're getting playable framerates on ultra on a CPU with 10 years outdated IPC:

Actually it was a dumb move to come up with a video of Austin (who is dumb) using a single 7770, since when are 7770's are a challenge to feed? So now you got proved wrong and you get reported because you were too ignorant to realize that cpu bound games exist.

Here we go again with not being able to understand anything. you open with "Learn to read max'ing the game out or the gpu are two different things" and expect anyone to read such an awful run-on sentence.

anyway, on to the actual topic at hand, your demos of Battlefield show only that the games play at very high FPS while recording at what I assume is 1080p, as that's the highest the videos are being uploaded to youtube. Stop recording and the FPS will only get higher. If there is a bottleneck, it'd be far out of perception.

Onto the slightly off topic WoW discussion, I've seen it done and played with him while doing it. I've also seen him run multiple accounts on decent settings on the same machine. You have to realize that some people are less bothered by low FPS. My brother perceives 20 FPS to be fine for many games, but also wants higher than 60 for others(hard to do on APU's).

Next, your opinions of Austin do not matter. You think he's stupid, half a million others think he's a cool enough person to have subscribed to his youtube page.

Lastly, Go ahead and report me. I'm an upstanding member of the LTTF community and have nothing to fear. Even if i get banned from the forum, i'll still be here to continue to support Linus(who is "friends" with Austin, might I add) and, if need be, get another account to help members in need.

You're not even supposed to watch at FPS. Having averages of 50/50% equals a single card at 99% in performance. Clearly pointing out that 4770k's won't take full advantage of a SLI setup. It was recorded with Shadowplay which uses the encoder chip on the card not the gpu just the encoder chip which can be monitored in gpu-z called "vid usage". It doesnt impact your performance at all. Like I said, get some basics.

Yeah.. How relevant to claim this over the net when the whole mmo-champion community wouldn't agree that you get more than 30 fps with intel in a 25m raid. AMD's single core performance is like twice as slow, goodluck getting playable framerates.

Next, your opinions of Austin do not matter. You think he's stupid, half a million others think he's a cool enough person to have subscribed to his youtube page.

And? Logan, who is complety ignorant, has a bunch of subs too when he has no proper explanation why a 8350 outperforms a i5 by 350% in a gpu bound game. Linking video's from some clueless youtubers doesnt prove yourself right and the amount of subs they have doesn't make themself right either. Austin never goes technically deep enough because he knows nothing, his video's are even more basic than Techquikie.

If you think because he is cool enough to claim "you dont need anything better than an apu" for gaming and while being true, then you lost your mind.

A little overboard with the quotes, eh?

None of the hardware end matters if he or she isn't going to notice a damn bit. From the end-user's perspective, it won't bottleneck. You're not going to lose performance by running a 4770K over a 4670K and the gain(if any) of a 4960X or a Xeon, for example, wouldn't be cost effective. Also, shadowplay isn't completely without framerate loss, it's just better about it than any other implementation i can think of at the moment.

Don't know where you got intel from, but okay. Also, if you want, try it for yourself. It can be done.

And just because he doesn't go into any depth doesn't mean Austin is any less smart about tech then Linus, Logan, Slick, or anybody else. And while i agree that Logan is an idiot, that doesn't mean he's ALWAYS wrong. Opinions are opinions, so get the hell over it.

And just guessing what you mean, because i still have trouble reading your run-on sentences, by this line, then yes, I think he's cool, and yes, he's right. My brother is playing games on an APU right now, and loving it. My old setup with a single core and a GT 210, not quite enough. And a 4770k with a R9 295X2 is overkill for MY use.

as for this line, all i say is maybe you should be worrying more about helping the OP than arguing over what youtuber is better than another and whether or not APU's are enough to play WoW.

@OneManWolfPack5 I'm sorry we took over the thread to bicker over things that aren't helpful. In the end, you'll be fine.

You still don't get it do you; there's no yes/no answer if someone asks if this cpu is a bottleneck for this card.

All you have left now is to admit that you were wrong. Your BS scale is getting close to an idiot. Shadowplay doesnt impact your performance or perhaps a 1-5% loss.

Don't think anyone feels comfortable reading your sentences - it's just a mess. Layout is awful, a new line for every new sentence, jumping from my English to Austin in the same sentence, starting your sentences with "and" because you can't put all your shit into one sentence, not starting your sentence with a capital, no capital on "i", using the comma where it's not needed or you use it complety wrong. Here you go: http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/commas.htm

Also, please use proper punctuation.

Think it's clear at this point who doesn't.

You stated above that there is a yes to that answer. You've said many times that there IS a bottleneck. I've also pointed out that he's never going to notice the bottleneck because his setup is overkill for games that are available if they're being played at 1080p, depending on tolerance to framerates dropping under the refresh rate of the monitor. While this setup won't be playing games like Metro or Crysis 3 to their FULL capabilities, it'll be the most satisfactory option on a Haswell based platform.

There is a VERY small loss. As you stated, it would be in the 1-5% range. Nothing many people would notice, but there is a loss.

Grammar doesn't need to be perfect, just readable. I know i make mistakes(there's probably a few in this sentence), but that doesn't mean i am incapable of getting my point across to someone who isn't as antagonizing and unfocused as you. We're here to help someone, not bicker over grammar.

As far as punctuation is concerned, i know i'm not the best, but again, at least the point can be understood. Example: If i write the sentence like this, you know that i know where the comma button is at the very least. Example 2: If i write the sentence like you do then there's no way to tell when to pause and when a new though comes up how do you even read this.
