Loading games takes a while

Since i only play dota 2. when loading into a game it really take my laptop a while before loading into the game. I dont know the problem but before it is not this slow. I noticed also that this happened when i upgraded my laptop to windows 8.1 . I also noticed that in my task manager my hard disk is on 100% . When playing dota 2 my ram is 3.0gb / 3.9gb. My CPU usage is on 17% while running dota 2. 

It concerns me because the alloted time only for loading is 1 min and 30 seconds and now i failed to make it. Failed to join a game

i7 3632QM 2.2ghz

4gb ram

get an ssd, defrag your hdd. Delete junk files you don't need anymore.

are you sure ssd will solve this problem?

A ssd wil solve your problem completely but a clean install should speed up things a bit for now.
