External hdd connected to router

I just bought a new router and I decided to plug my hdd in it. Everything is fine, but when I add something into the hard within the network it doesn't save. Everynight I close the power on my hard drive and when it boots up again, I lost everything that I just added.

 

Do you guys know an answer to that? 

 

And sorry for my poor english, I speak french.
