first time build.

Go to solution Solved by Mistral,

I have a maxiumus VI hero and I cant fault it, looks pretty awesome too.

If your using the pc for gaming then you should get the 4670k and divert more funds to getting a better gpu, maybe a gtx 770 instead.

the 4670k will be more than adequate for gaming.

Which motherboard should I get

Vi hero Or sabertooth.

I will be using 4670k or 4770k whith h100i

A gtx 760 maybe.

but now that the vii hero is out I'm thinking of getting that though not available where I live right now.

Also is it worth getting z97 even though your using haswell?

Also monitors

is benq rl2455hm good?

it fits in my price range.

Z97 only supports haswell, devils canyon = haswell and not a new achitechture

I would get a cheaper mobo and a 4670K if youre only gonna be gaming, the i7 isnt worth it for gaming,

if youre gonna edit, the i7 will reduce rendertimes and if thats worth the extra money, go with that

With the savings of all that, get a 770 or a 290 (non reference)
