RAM Timings

Per the last few posts I made; I made the jump to AM5 at probably the worst time but that’s future me’s problem.

I bought 1 stick of Patriot CL30 6000mhz RAM to use with my 7800x3D and was wondering if I had to manually adjust the timing of the RAM or is there an XMP equivalent where I just enable it and it works?

If I have too; where do I find the proper timings (I did see on the Newegg page that they had the properly tested timings) and how would I go about this on an ASUS ROG STRIX BIOS?

Yes, in the BIOS on the menu screen there should be an EXPO/XMP toggle in the left side.

You enable EXPO/XMP profile 1, and thats that It will now run at 6000Mhz CL30.
