cpu Cpu Overheating

I Changed my Cpu‘s Thermal Paste to artic mx6 and now it go worse. I changed back to the one i was given in the lian-li aio but its still the same bad results. Example My pc starts up with around 70°c and then goes down to 50°c. Starting minecraft with mods makes it spike up to 95°c. and being inside the world with no shaders and 6 render distance still keeps my cpu on 95°c.

that's not the paste. double check the mount. is it tight and snug?

have you checked the pump? any air in the lines?

I use MX6 and have had good results.

I have spring screws and they stop me from continue screwing if its tight enough. And before i had it a bit lose but still without any wiggles and still no changes

is the pump working?

it's gonna be either the mounting, pump, or air/blockage in the lines.

Did you plug the pump/fans back into the motherboard if you removed them?

The paste is not causing this, either mounting pressure is severely lacking or the pump is not working.

100 percent coldplate mounting issue or pump issue, but it being on two different coolers is weird. Unless you arent good at it. Its a relativley simple process, Im sure you got it.

I never unplugged them, i gently moved it aside and had plenty room to clean it with 99.9% alc, and put paste on it

Can you feel if both tubes coming out of the AIO are warm to the touch once the CPU hits 95c?

HOW did you apply the paste?  Did you use enough?  Is it spreading well?

 

It sounds like you are not applying it properly, if you say the cooler is mounted fine.  Not much else to account for.

Yea, i put enough. Once even double the amount needed but still overheats quickly.

Only one feels slightly warmer then the other, the other is cold i guess
