I made a post before complaining about my pc games crashing and freezing my whole pc and needing to restart with power button, i reinstalled windows from a usb and it seemed to have fixed the issues for most things, its not a regular thing anymore, but some games still give me issues
Vintage story worked fine before till it crashed but a few times i open it, it would have a stutter when it didnt before graph showed high spikes i dont have a pic but it fixed itself?
currently slay the spire 2 seems to crash a lot on alt tabbing, im assuming that is just a quirk of it being early access and its fine but it freezes my pc and i have to restart, every time ive had to restart i gamble my main monitor not turning on, its connected with display port so ik it just disconnects when my pc is off but the fix is usually unplugging and plugging it back in or restarting my pc and hoping it turns on that time, not that it hasnt taken more then once to turn on.
im not asking for help with crashing but if its connected that would be neat im just not sure if its related to my gpu at all? you dont have to read my last post but having to force shut off my pc was a thing i had to do regularly when things crashed and im just a little worried that nothing was actually fixed
spec:
windows 11 x64
Gigabyte B550M K
bios version B550M k F7
AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3d
AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT
750w power supply
32gb ddr4 ram
2 nvme ssds and a hard drive (all 1tb)

And GPU drivers? (or that's adrenaline right)

So that's CPU/Chipset drivers, GPU Drivers.

I wonder if it could be one of the RAM sticks, unless it's somehow the GPU.

Is that 2x16 or 4x8?

Was there any change or tweak before your PC started having problems?

its 4x8 ram in the last post i checked ram with memory diagnostic all together and one at a time, i have reinstalled them once more since then to make sure i didnt just put them in wrong cause im stupid

I cant say i did anything diffrent, my pc is still pretty barebones everything comes from steam except for a few games from itch.io and vintage story which asked me to download .net 10 runtime, but looking at it now i see its for a version that isnt out yet so i might just be dumb. only other thing maybe was 7.1 surround sound for my razer barracuda which tbh has its own issues of disconnecting randomly and sometimes just forcing me to restart my pc cause it wont connect again but i think thats a separate issue.

im pretty sure i did turn on xmp since restarting but i didnt touch anything else cause i know i would mess something up thats the only like bios tweak i have ever done, i guess besides updating it

that's not a reliable tool, I'd rather use memtest86 or even trying two sticks at a time seeing if crashing randomly stops

i could do that, when i was looking up how to test ram i did see memtest86 but i thought i should try the one windows had, and i didnt have a usb at hand at the time so i guess i can play with that
