Hello !

I'm build new rig, personally i dont think it'll be a bottleneck but i'm not sure. Here is my build: http://www.dinokomp.si/konfigurator/?mb_id=161&procesor_id=368&ram_id=493&gra_id=923&gra_id=923&hdd1_id=1019&case_id=1368&cool_id=1568&power_id=3376

Its from my country, but i hope you know what is what :P.Tnx for opinion if it will be or wont be bottleneck.

No problems with bottlenecking, but I would go with an SSD though...

I would recommend getting a HD 7950 and not a HD 7970 because the performance difference is so little and so unimportant that it is not worth the extra money. With those money you saved from the GPU get a SSD.

Your system doesn;t have a bottleneck problem. All PC systems suffer from bottlenecking. Your PC is ok, don't worry. But get a SSD :D

CPU: AMD FX-6100 Black Edition @3.9GHz GPU: XFX 7970 DD (1062/1520 MHz) MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth 990FXA(1st Revision) RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB @ 1333MHz Storage: Corsair Force 3 120GB(Boot) + WD Green 1TB(storage) PSU: FSP AURUM 600W(80+ Gold) CPU Cooler: Cryorig M9a  Case: NZXT Tempst 410 Elite(Mid-Tower) Mouse: Logitech G602(Manufacturer Refurbished) Keyboard: Noppoo Choc Mini(Cherry MX Blue) AUDIO:Sennheiser HD 598+ASUS Xonar DGX Monitor: LG M2280DF 21.5" 1080p(TN-75Hz)

Tnx for fast reply, about SSD,I will buy it 100% but not sure if right now, couse i want to build rig under 1300€. Maybe should take 7950 and get SSD,will think about it.

Delete WD green and go for Samsung 830 or so

I cant live only with one disk (SSD) :P

Then go 60GB SSD and 500GB HDD?  ;)

I could but,I wanna buy atleast 120gb ssd,so i can have OS,some programs (mc word...) and games which i will play more (GW2,BF3/4) and they took more place,BF3 is now about 50gb

But do you have a lot of data?

Every system has a bottleneck, your system will bottleneck at the slowest part you have. Personally I'd grab a 7950 instead and grab a boot ssd. Even an ssd as small as 64gb, should be fine. If you can grab a 120 or higher ssd, the better! :) Nice build! Looking forward to some pics of the build!

Main Gaming Rig/Folding Machine: Core i7 3770k @ 4.7GHz / H100 with Sickleflow Fans/ Corsair 600t / XFX 6950 / 16GB DDR3

Folding/Media PC: AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE/ Fractal Design Core 1000 / 4GB DDR2

Ultrabook : Samsung NP530 Ultrabook.

I advice to get some better fans in there, but that's up to you. The case itself is quite good

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.4GHz (cooled by Corsair H110) Motherboard: ASUS Maximus VI Formula RAM: 16GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 | GPU: ASUS GTX780TI-DC2OC-3GD5 Case: NZXT Phantom 630 Storage: Samsung 840 Pro 128GB + 3 x WD Black 500GB  + WD Black 1TB + WD Black 2TB + Kingston V300 120GB PSU: SeaSonic Platinum 660W Monitors: 3 x Iiyama ProLite XU2390HS-1 Keyboard: Logitech G910 Orion Spark Mouse: Logitech G502 Protheus Spectrum Mousemat: Steelseries QcK Heavy (40x45) Headset: Kingston HyperX Cloud II Speakers: Logitech Z906

As long as the cpu doesnt bottleneck you will be fine. You can always upgrade to a new generation graphics card in the future, cpu upgrades are probably out of the question, (need for new mainboard and so on)

In this case, you could probably run two graphics card if you apply some overclocking to the cpu. So, yes there is a bottleneck (probably a huge one), but depending on what you are doing with your pc, its not at a place where its a problem.

Following things i would change:

1. get a cheaper/other Power Supply, 800W is too much unless you plan to run 3 graphics cards. Something around 500-600 Watts should be enough.

2. get a cheaper/other CPU Cooler. Something like a Scythe Mugen 3 should be fine.

3. get a HD 7950

4. get cheaper ddr3 ram. 1600mhz should be enough

From all the savings you can probably get a decent SSD (Samsung 840 basic, Crucial) and maybe even a bigger Hard Drive. Depending on your country the sweet spot for HDDs should be around 2 or 3 TB (the point where you get the most GBs for your money)

EDIT: If possible go with 16 gigs of ram instead of 8. Its not that expensive and if you want to get some work done with your rig, you probably will enjoy it.
