HDD Help Needed

So yesterday I made a post about not being able to boot windows after my upgrade to my new intel system. Its up and running now just fine but the only problem is I cant use anything on my hard drive. I have my old WD hard drive from my old build that has steam and all my games and such on it. Its plugged in and i see all the stuff it but when i go to the control panel and go to where you uninstall programs there's nothing there but the programs that come with the drivers for my motherboard and GPU. How do i get my HDD usable and have my screen cluttered back up with all my game icons?
