Just want to check i've got this right, I require the 90 degree cable because I'm using a Lian Li o11 air mini so i have a small space constraint. I believe TypeA will go UNDER the GPU.
Is the 3 cable 450W or 600W? might want to go 5090 or beyond later.

current motherboard if it matters, thanks. 🙂

Edit: Found this, would this be a better fit? https://www.pccasegear.com/products/70417/cablemod-universal-pro-modflex-12v-2x6-90-deg-direct-pcie-cable-variant-a-black

The case has 170 mm clearance above the motherboard. The gpu is ~138 mm tall. Thirty mm should be more than enough clearance for a regular 12V-2X6 cable connector.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Based on the logo on the GPU, pretty sure that's ASUS TUF, no idea which rtx.

Although...,

Supposedly 4090 TUF

And TUF 4090 is :

If Nvidia adapter can be fitted like that, I'd say you're most likely gonna have ample room.

Unless you somehow holds the cable in place at the length you want or are using a really stiff cable like Corsair's 2x8pin to 12VHPWR cable, chances are they are going to be affected by gravity, just like my RM1000x 2024 embossed cable. Just like the 2nd pic

This helps a lot. Out of curiosity though, would either of the 2 cablemod cabes I linked be safe? I always heard no cable mixing

The no cable mixing rule is about not using other brand's cable, sometimes even apply to some models from the same brand.

Cablemod usually custom made them to fit the pinouts of the PSU, hence why they often put brand name/model it's compatible with.

Whether the cablemod cables safe or not that depends mainly on the cable build quality itself.

And the rest depends on whether or not the RTX feels like burning I guess, since the main problem is shitty power distribution on the card itself, hence why I still afraid of buying 5090 🤣.
