Hi,

I have a Seasonic PRIME PX-1600. I lost the AC power cord and the 3 pins design is not the same type as all my other psu power cables. The connector looks like Amazon.com: StarTech.com 10ft (3m) Heavy Duty Power Cord, NEMA 5-15P to C19 AC Power Cord, 15A 125V, 14AWG, Computer Power Cord, Heavy Gauge Power Cable for PDUs and Network Equipment, UL Listed (PXT515191410) : Electronics

I am worried as not being direct from the manufacturer that it may damage the PSU or other components.

Thank :)

Should work.
IIRC past 1000w PSUs uses C19 instead of C13

As long it's well enough made it wont damage your stuffs.

Why not just email Seasonic about a replacement cord?

They probably ask for your grandma's birth certificate and microcenter CCTV footage to prove you actually exist and bought the PSU, it's easier to get a new one.

It got pretty good reviews. Hope that means it's good.

Shady sellers can buy Indian reviews for like 1000/$2.50, but it should be fine if it's a cable. Make sure both ends fit right and don't wiggle around.

I mean he can probably buy one from them.

Can't hurt to ask. At least he'll know he has the real deal cable instead of wondering/worrying.
