Overclocking on AMD 970

I just purchased a new CPU Cooler (Hyper 212 Evo) for my brother's system (running a FX-4300), and I was unsure if you can overclock on the AMD 970 chipset. I just installed the cooler and was planning on overclocking it tomorrow, so can you overclock on 970?
