so im looking to upgrade my power supply on my PC i just purchased. just to get that out of the way. PowerSpec G527 Gaming PC; AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D 4.0GHz Processor; AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB GDDR6; 32GB DDR5-6000 RAM; 1TB - Micro Center

 

I am wondering are all psus universal and will fit that case? not a whole lot of info on the case size for powerspec.

Not all PSU's are universal, some are for server racks and some are for Small Form Factor cases, you can of course use a small form factor PSU in a normal case. And some very high wattage PSU's are quite long and might not fit in certain mid size cases.

The PowerSpec G527 seems to be using the ''LANCOOL 205M MESH'' case and it supports PSU's up to 180mm in length.

180mm is a very good compatability, even my RM1000x is only 160mm in length.
