My little bro is looking for a 2nd hand GPU to upgrade from GTX1660 6GB. Mostly gaming on 1080p e-sport.

Here is the 2nd hand GPU price from where we're from (BKK)

RTX3060 12GB - 200 USD

RTX3060Ti 8GB - 200 USD

RTX3070 8GB - 230 USD

RTX3070Ti 8GB - 250 USD

RTX4060 8GB - 220 USD

RTX4060Ti 8GB - 270 USD

RTX5060 8GB - 300 USD

He's looking for :

-best bang for a buck

-within budget 200-300 USD

-not bottlenecked by current system (R5 5600, Ram 16GB, B550, PSU 550W)

-team green only

It may not be the best idea to recommend buying 8GB GPU in 2025 but that's the budget he has.

What do you guys think the best pick? 🙂

What is the make and model of your psu?

Any reason for only looking at nvidia? Amd is often better priced used.

The 3070ti is the fastest card here and bsst value HOWEVER we need to knoe the exact psu as if its a bad unit that gpu can easily overpower one.

Corsair CX 550M, I think it's a bit underpowered for 3070Ti too.

Your used prices are a bit high.

I sold my 3060 for less in 2024.

I bought my used 3070 for 260usd in 2024.

I'd hesitate between 3070 and 4060, the 3070Ti isn't a decent improvement over the 3070
