So i have been using my shield to stream games to my computer for a while. Then the other day it stopped working. After rebooting both devices countless times and uninstalling geforce experience it still hasnt worked. I used this as an opurtinity to install windows on my new ssd hoping that that may solve the problem. After getting everything setup and games on it i paired the devices and it loaded my games but when i go to play them the shield says cannot connect to pc when it obviosly can. several reboots later and i am here after looking for solutions for the past hour.

I have my pc connected to lan and the 5ghz wifi that my shield is connected to. My shield is connected to the same wifi and both are paired.

And your Gamestream option is set to either 'On my network' or 'On my network and the internet'? Like this:

I think it is a shield related error so i am going to reset my shield after i back it up and then i will see if that works
