So here is the setup:

Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 Gaming WiFi 6 1.0

Ram: Patriot Viper 32gb 16x2 Ddr5 (slots 2 and 4)

sk Hynix nvme 1gb

zotac 5070 ti

hyte y40 case

processor: ryzen 7 7700 8core locked

double checked all connections, completely undid it and put it all back together

I have an MSI 650 W power supply

whenever I have the computer hooked up to a monitor, I can’t get the bios to appear on the monitor whether or not I have the HDMI hooked up to the GPU or just the motherboard. The indicator lights on the motherboard when turning on end up going over to VGA, which leads me to check the graphics card, but the graphics card seems to be fine and seated correctly. I have tried multiple things, but I can’t get an image. I tried to also update the bios by downloading it from another PC onto a flash drive and then using the Q flash option on the back to see if I did anything but I can’t tell if it did and it’s still just doing this.

Plug your cable back into the GPU, and try re seating the GPU completely, I did have this exact problem once and I genuinely thought it was correctly seated multiple times well I was wrong, I re seated it a third time and well it worked

Also you CPU doesn't have integrated graphic if I'm not wrong so plugging into the motherboard won't work. If it still doesn't work you might need to try and update your BIOS

If it's all correctly seated, you could try and check the CPU and the RAM if those are correctly placed, make sure no dust/hair or other stuff is in there

Other people might be more useful than I am for solutions !
Edit whoopsies : I didn't see you already tried some of those my bad, y

Always best to test boot the platform with the motherboard on it's box, before putting it in the case, to establish a baseline for 'known working parts'.
Then test again, before that last side panel goes on...

Aside from that, never rush to get get finished... "more haste, less speed".

Current PC spec. in my profile.
Can I realistically call myself a gamer, if I only play ONE, twenty year old game...?

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!
