Hello,

My wife's pc is a prebuilt pc from Cyber power and it is the following pc https://www.bestbuy.com/product/cyberpowerpc-gamer-master-gaming-desktop-amd-ryzen-7-5700-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-4060-ti-8gb-2tb-ssd-black/J3L7GQW27K

It is windows 11

It has an Asrock B550m-c motherboard

Ryzen 7 5700

RTX 4060 ti

16gb Ram

The Computer is usually left on, but is turned off at least once a week. My wife went to use it for the first time today, and the screen was black but the rgb on the computer was on, so she turned off the computer. When turning it back on there was still no output, and the DRAM and cpu lights are on, on the motherboard. Her keyboard and headset do not light up, and both have RGB but the fan RGB still lights up. i have check/tried the following

Unplugged the cmos battery, held power button for 1 minute, let sit for several minutes then plugged back in

Re-seated the GPU

Re-seated both sticks of RAM

Verified monitor and display port cable, both worked

The 24 pin and all other cables appear to be fully plugged in and i have Re-seated most of them

The computer is only 2 years old, any advice on what i could try would be appreciated. I normally would try to flash a new bios on a computer at this point, but i don't believe it is possible to do so on this motherboard as it doesn't have a flash button, and i don't know how to do so without that or a display.

-Thank you

Hello,

Did you try with only one Stick of RAM ?

And instead of unplugging the CMOS can you try using the CMOS reset Pins on the Mainboard?

Also as one last step that sometimes helped is actually Re-seating the CPU

i tried using the reset pins, i tried using just 1 ram stick, and i tried  both of the ram sticks in the A2 slot just in case one of them was bad, i did also Re-seat the CPU. There wasn't any change to what it does, but i feel like its worth mentioning i tried the on-board graphics with the GPU removed, and i tried removing the nvme to see if it did it without any storage connected. The dram and cpu light turn on the moment you hit the power button, there is no delay, i dont know if that narrows it down, but im completely out of ideas, i dont have another am4 cpu/motherboard to test with either

This is probably not the answer you want to hear but I think you should get an AM4 CPU to test your computer. I am very suspicious of your CPU.

To get a spare CPU you can go to a repair shop and ask for an estimate. A simple drop in and test should be low cost or maybe free.

If you don't have a repair shop near you, you can purchase a new CPU and ask if you can return it for refund if it doesn't solve your issue. You can even check the return policy of Amazon if you don't have a computer parts store in your vicinity.

When you can't even get the computer to boot to the BIOS screen, it is often the CPU that is faulty, or the motherboard. That's why it is crucial to test the CPU to confirm if it is good or dead.

Your computer is probably no longer under warranty (please check to be sure) but your can ask AMD if they apply their 3-year warranty to OEM builds too.

Good luck !
