mupen64plus 2.6.0 question

please i would like to know which mupen64plus 2.6.0 run on Linux Mint 22.2, mupen64plus-bundle-linux64-ubuntu22-2.6.0.tar.gz or mupen64plus-bundle-linux64-2.6.0.tar.gz??

Well why dont you just try the ubuntu one first. If that fails, then try the other one

ubuntu22 probably means it targets Ubuntu libs while the other probably targets more upstream ones. Mint being based on Ubuntu you may need the ubuntu22 build. Ubuntu often gets separate builds due to versioning differences between distros.

With that said using a install script isn't really recommended for installing something.

I would consider RetroArch which has the Mupen64Plus Core (Mupen64Plus-Next). RetroArch is available as a FlatPak on FlatHub and should be readily available in Mints software store. Cores can be installed with it's Online Updater, https://www.retroarch.com/?page=cores.
