I have 32gb of ddr4 3600 mhz corsair memory but sometimes my computer shuts itself down and says that i have memory problems

I have used windows built in memory testing app and i had mixed results 1 time it said that i had a memory fault, but when I ran it again nothing came up i have tired different sticks and clocked it down to 3200mhz as i use all 4 dimm slots. But I still had the same problem its so random it will work for week with no issue and then crash time after time again. The only thing i could imagine that my motherboard has a defect dimm slot but i couldn't isolate the problem. My bios is kinda old 2021 should i update it. The pc was in a water damaged room but was taken to a repair guy for insurance reasons. But I had this problem before

Motherboard: B550 Tomahawk Msi

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X

GPU: Rtx 3070 fe

Psu: Corsair Rm650w

Mem: 32gb 8x4 3600 Mhz 15-15-15-36

If you need any more info just ask i want to really figure this out

Yes, update your BIOS.  That's quite old and even on a stable ecosystem that is AM4... you can still get improvements over 4 years.

Your issue is that you are running 4 sticks of RAM. Ryzen Zen 3 desktop CPU's don't seem to work well with 4 sticks. And if you are not using a matching RAM kit. It can be even worse.

You can try updating the bios (disable Bitlocker first if it's on).

If that doesn't help you can disable XMP.

But I think it'll work better with 2x 16gb sticks than 4x 8gb sticks.

I'm going to disagree with this.  I have had multiple setups (5600 and 5600X3D specifically) that run 4x DIMMS without issue.  3200 and 2400 speeds, thought no 3600CL15.

It may be a speed/timing issue notb eing handled well but Zen 3 can rock 4 sticks without issue normally.  DDR4 is strong.
