my gpu clock speed is alaways at max and so is the memory idk if its normal i though it would lower it self when not in use i also have a secondary gpu igpu that should be in use when not using 3d applications

I see that you have an Nvidia GPU.
Can you check your power settings in the Nvidia Control Panel?

If its set to maximum performance the GPU clock will always be at max.

This may have been the case long ago, but not now. I have my 5080 set to Max Performance and clocks are still downclocking.

Disregard, I was looking at Voltage, not Clocks

@karmic tr What programs do you have open/running? Many apps/programs have built-in logic that state to use GPU acceleration if available. This could include web browsers, Discord, etc..

its like this pretty much always  except when i connect  an hdmi cord and it  uses my igpu it will show 300  or when it gets too hot it swaps to my igpu instead of my gpu
