Hi all  ^_^

I'm not sure if there is a thread for this already (so far, I cant see one).

I just wanna ask if you have any motherboard recommendation for this setup...  :)

GPU : GeForce GTX 760 (most probably non-reference)
CPU : Intel Core i5-4670K @ 3.40GHz
RAM : CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600

I'm thinking of Gigabyte G1 sniper M5 although i think it is too pricey and i do not need to have all those extra bells and whistles (or do I.. honestly clueless..)

Also will there be bottlenecks with this build?

Any recommendation is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

As for budget, about 600 USD or so for the CPU, GPU, RAM, mobo, PSU, and Case, if you can squeeze in even a bit of SSD and cooler (im planning of OC as well) that would be sweet :)

As for location, im in Phillippines so I think shipping might be an issue, so i'm thinking of buying the parts locally.

Thanks again!

600 dollars might be a bit hard you will need to cut back on the CPU and mobo choices, the i5 which you are aiming is 200+ USD already

same goes for the GTX760

If I pitch in another 150$ would that be enough to get the I5? I dont have any issues with cutting back on the mobo, but if its possible i would like to have the I5 and a decent GPU.

it a Z87 but it allows you to OC your i5 CPU

Everything looks great! :), but if its no trouble for you, I would like to have that I5 in my build, (probably the 3570k ivy) i know its not as budget friendly as the fx-8320 but... lets just say its kind of a guilty pleasure having intel over AMD (Sorry! :P )

If we drop the storage and change the budget to 700 - 800 bucks will that make any difference?

intels a real struggle on the budget sorry i usually go for intel on $1000+ budgets, if you were to go intel though you would be looking at something un ocing with a 270x or 760 but the choice is yours

nono sorry i was saying you would go with a non ocing i5. GPUs and CPUs Ocing are two separate things and can always OC a gpu

I see, so if I swap the CPU with an OC-able I5 and the GPU with a GTX 760 in your previous build, that would still work? No bottlenecks?

no. thats a amd motherboard silly you will need a 1150 and a z87 or z97 motherboard with it to work. but otherwise yes just fine
