Hey guys I've been having some issues with my pc lately. It will suddenly hitch or stutters as if it is lagging during regular gaming usage. My system runs a windows 10, Ryzen 7 5800x3d, msi 3070, an AM4 gigabyte motherboard, and 64 gigs of ddr4 ram @3600mhz. I've updated the graphics drivers, tried a different gpu, and set of ram. I'm at a loss for what could be the issue. I believe it is CPU related but do not know how to positively tell. I attached a clip of the issue (yes this is a playtest game but it happens in other games like couter strike, fortnite, the finals... pretty much everything I play.) Changing the game's settings does not seem to make the stuttering any less frequent. It does not happen while using regular non-intensive desktop applications. Any tech-tips on the issue would be greatly appreciated!

What Power scheme settings are you using?

If you're using Balanced mode then try the High performace mode instead. It might help, but it'll also draw some more power.

It can also be other drivers causing it than the usual GPU drivers. Have you updated the chipset drivers?

Do you have alot of USB devices connected? Try removing everything except the mouse and keyboard.

How high is the disc usage during gaming? Is it at 100% all the time?
