Ive been reading, specing out, and would like advice and have it double before I start building! I also use some specific homebrew software for my job that only works on Nvidia so thats why i have gone with the 5070ti!

If I was you, I'd change the build to this.

  • I don't see a reason why you're spending so much on an X670E board when you're not fully using it. We can get a match for needs vs what's on offer.
  • I've bought the case similar to what I picked and quality is superb.
  • 240mm AIO is a mistake, either get a dual tower fan for the same performance, half the price or just get a 360mm AIO for pennies more.
  • PSU is way overpriced. Picked still a pricy model but I have the more expensive sibling and the cables on it are superb, makes Corsair look like a knockoff.
  • I have BeQuiet! and I live by it. Their AIO and fans, good warranty. Also added in extra fan splitters so that cable management is logical and doable for you.

I disagree on the PSU, it's the OG in a way.  The RMx is the benchmark other PSU's are held to in a way.  $15 difference is not way overpriced, and $120 for a 850w Corsair RMx is a decent price IMO.

Not saying the Antec isn't good, just offering an opinion on the Corsair.

Solid build, and surprisingly a decent motherboard for the price.  Tho it doesn't have PCIe 5 for the GPU.  Not impactful but should be noted.

I might have been a bit harsh with my words on Corsair feeling like a knock off as they're perfectly good for 99% of people out there but it's hard to explain as there is this apathy I feel towards them. I've been loyal to Corsair for more than decade, Keyboards, RAM and PSU's, never looking at alternatives and now that I did and see how they do things different, better even making me feel awkwardly free.

If I had to find some friction, it'd be how they do cables vs others and how I want to do cables when I build PC's. I hate daisy chaining and Corsair seems to go all in on it.

Thank you for this:

For a duel air cooler, what would you reccomend? I was origianlly thinking going the classic peerless assasin, or would you say that an aio would be better? does a 360mm radiator fit in the top of the case? from what ive seen in both the pop air and the epoch can only take a 240mm at the top? I could front mount but ive had issues with this in the past.

My ideal case would be the fractal north, which i love the look of, but i have heard negative things about its cable management tray at the back being a pain.

I would rather spend the bit of extra on the corsair PSU tbh,

I have the North XL.  The cable management is no worse than most other cases.  Fractals bad cabling is better than most other cases good cabling.

I wouldn't let that hold you back from getting it.

I've had the Fractal Define R6 prior, as a comparison.   Both are fine.
