When I clicked it it gave me a loading symbol and then after ~15 seconds it went back to the previous screen. After trying a few times, it seemed to be trying to access the microsoft page where i could reset my PIN but then said i suddenly wasnt connected to the internet. plz help

Edit: This happened after I tried to restart/reboot into safe mode.

This usually happens when Windows Hello PIN gets messed up after booting into Safe Mode. Try signing in with your regular Microsoft account password instead of the PIN. If that works, you can go into Settings and remove/re-add the PIN. If it doesn’t let you in at all, go through Advanced Startup → Troubleshoot → Startup Settings, boot into Safe Mode with Networking, and fix it from there.

If i remember correctly, I had this issue before and it had something to do with the Windows updates that were automatically installed. I've had TONS of issues with drivers or updates that Windows automatically installs, so try searching in this (below) menu for any updates that were installed around the time you started to notice issues. You can also go to System > Recovery and try to fix windows using Windows Update, but at this point that may just do nothing or cause more issues, assuming an update already caused the issue.

For updates with weird names like KBxxxx(various numebrs) you can google and check what specific feature or device it affects first before uninstalling it. People that have figured out which specific version is causing which specific issue should already have posted about it online.
