Hi, my system is:

9800x3d

ASRock X870E NOVA WIFI AM5 AMD X870E ATX Motherboard

64gig of g.skill

seasonic 1600w

7900xtx

lian li liquid aio

So basically, sometimes when i start up my desktop it loads fine. Sometimes it hangs before the opening screen, but the minute i unplug my usb hub it stops hanging and boots up just fine. I tried a couple different usb ports with limited success. Hoping it's something simple as it took a good while to get everything setup and all. System has been running about 3 months with no other issues.

I appreciate any help you can provide.

With something like that, I would ask if you've updated to the latest BIOS and installed the latest chipset drivers. Both of those can help with USB dropout.

If that doesn't address it, it could be a problem with the hub itself, or one of the devices connected to it. Do you happen to have another hub for a laptop or another PC that you could test against to see if it gives the same issue? Or have you tried having fewer things hooked into the hub to see if perhaps one of them might be the problem?

At first it didn't seem to happen. A little over time, past 1 month or a little more it started happening more. I only noticed the usb unplug thing work by accident as i was going to switch to my laptop. Then once i noticed it i found out it seems to make it work.

Yeah, i have tried the usb hub on my laptop with no issues. I will look in to seeing about updating the bios. Just thought it was weird it happened more and more over time.
