What gaming headset would everyone recommend if I had a budget of $200 before tax and all that? I mainly play shooters like escape from tarkov and that kinda thing if it helps.

 

This is one I was thinking : Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Wireless Gaming Headset

SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro renewed for $191....  Usually near $300.  I got one and love it.  Do NOT buy the Corsair Virtuoso series, incredibly bad build quality.

I seen those as well just never had good luck with anything preowned or refurbished

Interesting, I absolutely love refurbs. 

 

Look at the Nova 7 then, new.  

 

I don't have any experience with anything other than the Arctis Nova Pro, Corsair Virtuoso SE, and the Logitech G933 and G733 lines.

I have the wired version of this headset and love it. The mic is perhaps a small weakness.... I've heard better, but it's certainly decent enough in my opinion. But I find it to be the most comfortable, and least bulky feeling of any headset I've used.

 

Sound is good, and it has mic monitoring which is important to me.
