Email issue?

So a few weeks ago i ended up smasshing my phone and had to go pick up another phone as it would be cheaper to do that then repair the screen

i used microsoft auth app anyhow

i lost acess to that. but i was able to get into 2/3 emails with the info i had

the 3rd one is a little bit confusing. anytime i try clicking use the number ending ''3586'' it says this ''This verfication method is not working right now please try using another one or try again later'' and its been like this for days. yes i do have a recovery email for it. but i have 2 factor on so i need to use the phone number and i've tried contacting support and they can't do anything.. i was twice able to use the number but it gave me a captcha and when i passed it the screen just turned white. and for the second time

the page just wouldnt load.... anyhow. i've been locked out of the current things

If you still have your old phone and the hardware still works, you should try a dock. if your phone is semi modern you can connect a dongle to it and use a usb mouse and display output to operate it so you can grab stuff of it.

That’s a tough situation being locked out with 2FA tied to your old phone is a nightmare. A few things you can try:

If you still have the recovery codes from when you set up 2FA, those will bypass the authenticator.

For Microsoft Authenticator, you can restore from cloud backup if you had it enabled check if the app was tied to your MS account.

If you don’t have backup codes, you’ll need to go account by account and use their recovery flow with your recovery email/ID. It’s painful, but usually the only way.

For the phone number issue verification method not working, that usually means a temporary outage or carrier problem  keep trying at different times of the day.

Since this involves banks and email, I’d recommend contacting those providers directly by phone if possible and requesting manual ID verification to recover access.

Unfortunately, without recovery codes or cloud backup, there’s no universal shortcut  it’s one service at a time.
