I’m new to pc building and just built my very own pc. It has a rtx 5070, ryzen 7700x, 32 gigs of ddr5 ram, runs on windows 11 yet when I run Fortnite (ik IK but it was the first game that finished downloading) I’m only getting about 70-80 frames, I feel like it should be higher than that, any tips or suggestions on why this is happening and what to do to fix it?

Is the framerate capped? What resolution and in game settings are you running at?
Have you monitored temperatures?

Are the fans on the 5070 spinning?

Lowest settings at what resolution? 1080p? 4k?

I recommend downloading MSI Afterburner.

Here is a quick 1 minute guide to set up temperature monitoring.

Here is a link to MSI Afterburner. Its a Beta build so it works with RTX 5000 cards.

If you change the skin Options - User Interface to Default V3 Skin Big edition, you get a tab on the right where you can see more information.  Like this ( my MSI Afterburner )

Dont worry about the sliders, they are for overclocking your GPU.  Just leave them at default.

It says my wattage to my gpu is only 30-50 but I have a 850 w unit could this be the problem?

850W PSU is plenty enough for your system, it could easily run on a solid 550w power supply.

I am thinking the games are running on the intergrated graphics on the processor instead of the graphics card.

What exact power supply do you have?
