why is this so immature when it comes to GNU/Linux support?
With the very clear shift towards pci-e based storage, the life of hardware raid is ending. And we are already to the point where you open up some servers and it's just all U.3 drives on NVMe
So why in god's earth is it so difficult to simply install an os on a pc using multiple nvme drives for redundancy?
Your options are either mbabm, or a full manual install and manual maintenance.

My experience with it was so scuffed, and I was eventually enlightened to find that Proxmox straight in the installer allows for an onslaught of raid options including the highly sought after raid-z1 config.
It also automates the EFI partition maintenance during a kernel update and other zfs maintenance tasks.  But how are they so far the only ones doing this?
