Hello!

Before I sart I need to point out that I don't know much about PCs.

Okay so I need a build that can do the following:

- Run Battlefield 4 and other high demanding games at 60-90 fps

- Allow me to use programs like Sony Vegas and Photoshop without any problems

- I also just need it to be an all around fast pc.

Peripherals:

- A decent HD 27" monitor

- A sturdy keyboard

I already have a mouse

The budget is around £1.2K

Thanks in advanced! Also, if you need anymore info then just ask :)

Are you sure about the 27" HD monitor? it's going to look pretty bad up-close compared to a 23 or 24" monitor.

If you don't mind spending a little more, this will give you slightly more gaming performance, and the 16GB RAM will help much more in Ps and Sony Vegas. You'll also be able to use CUDA acceleration in Adobe programs up to CS6. (Adobe CC has OpenCL)

Also the monitor is a really nice IPS display, I have one. :P

Save a few quid on the GPU and get a R9 290 ? You could swap the SSD for the Samsung Evo.

The EVO is more expensive, and the 780 gives him slightly better performance, and GPU acceleration in older versions of Adobe suite if he doesn't have CC.

My Brain was in Gaming mode  :D  You are right on the gpu as the CUDA support should help. I still think the Evo would be worth squeezing in, as it is only an extra £13.
