Alright guys I need help! @cae had a post on the classifieds for a Corsair M95 for $35. As someone who needs a new mouse I knew this was a great deal! However, For those of you who are or remember what it was like when you were 15 you might know how hard it is for me to buy ANYTHING online :(

 

paypal requires me to be 18 and I have no access to a credit or debit card, not even through my parents. I really want to make this work so I need to know if a prepaid credit card like you would buy at your grocery store would work to add funds to a Google Wallet account. I have one already from when I subscribed to Maximim PC. I have had trouble before with these cards no working when attempting to buy Minecraft (had to make 7 accounts before the gift cards were available) So that's why I'm asking. Oh and cae and I live on opposite ends of the country so just sending him cash isn't really a good option.

It should work. Buying minecraft is just a terrible experience for everyone. I gave up after 3-4 tries.

If its linked to a bank account you can easily transfer funds to your paypal when your using it.

That's not an option for me :( at least not right now.

Mojang can suck it. It shouldn't be that hard to buy something. They don't need the money I guess.

Meh for me I was worth it. Love the game to this day! and I started playing like 3 years ago.

What I used to do is I would bypass Paypal altogether. I go to Walmart (or Meijer, depending on where you live in the US), and buy a pre-paid debit gift card for myself. Then I use that online. If the number gets stolen, whip-de-doo. It's empty before that happens because I buy them when I intend to use them and only use so much. Then I use the little bit that's usually left for gum or something.

I believe there are $25 and $50 ones. I avoided the ones I could add funds to because they cost like $5 to have every month (very expensive for a debit card btw).

These work like normal debit cards btw.

Ok. I've had this method not work like 6 time when buying MC but maybe it will work with a purchase in the same country.
