Thank you!! Looking through the forums, I see people choose and over nvidea, how come? Is the price to performance better? I've always used nvidea cards in computers because I know the driver interfaces better.

Biggest marketing budget so the GPU brand most only know of and people tend to stick with the thing they've seen before.

NVIDIA has had such market dominance that they've increasingly gotten lazy for the money that you pay. In niche cases new kid on the block Intel also has great performance for money spent but AMD is a safe bet. I've enjoyed using it especially the software features like integrated recording and so on far more than I did when I was on team green.

Won’t this be a similar build, but a quite a bit cheaper off the original build? Not like the 7600 is going to bottleneck it much compared to the 9600x, I believe

Similar, but I will never advocate an A620 board.

Yuor CPU, mobo and RAM is $354.  Mine is $319, including the extra 1x16GB stick.

Better CPU and motherboard by far.  Spend the difference on a $35 CPU Cooler, for parity... and I win 🙂

Why add a cpu cooler? Seems needless, when the stock is fine. Did they ever say they had a Microcenter nearby?

if they do, just go r7 7700x bundle, no?

Stock is fine, sure.  But 9600X can scale with better cooling.  PBO/CO with a good cooler and you'll be unleashing a bit more performance.

AMD stock coolers are... just "fine".

They can.  just depends if they want more cores or not.
