I have a 3080 RTX, DDR4 32gb RAM, and i7 12700KF, my friend has 2070 Super, 64gb ddr5 ram, and 7700X. On the same settings in APEX, he gets 300 FPS, and for me im only get 160-190. and checking GPU utilization he has 80 - 90% and i got 40% throughout??? how do I fix this multiple people have told me to just turn my graphics settings up so GPU util is going to be 80-90% but i still will get less to the same frames? im trying to get 300 thats why im on low settings I need help figuring this out?

Try putting your GPU into your friend's system to see if the CPU or RAM is limiting your FPS.

AMD Ryzen™ 5 5600g w/ Radeon Graphics | 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM | 256GB NVME SSD + 2TB HDD | Amazon Basics 2.0 Speakers

My friend lives 3 hours away from me, is there any else to fix? like forcing it to get to 80-90 util so i can also get 300 fps or is it impossible

Check for CPU usage while gaming to determine any CPU-based bottlenecks. If you have an overclockable motherboard, you can try overclocking the RAM and CPU maybe. Though 160FPS is plenty!

If you can provide more data, GPU-Z/HWiNFO logs or even just screenshots of relevant information from those software packages while the game is running we may be able to tell you more.

Ryzen 7 7800x3D -  Asus RTX4090 TUF OC- Asrock X670E Taichi - 32GB DDR5-6000CL30 - SuperFlower 1000W - Fractal Torrent - Assassin IV - 42" LG C2 - Windows 11 Pro

My cpu is around 60-50% util during apex legends gaming, im tryna get 300 fps since i got 240 hz monitor, and ts makes me wanna go back to 144 hz since i cant get enough fps to match my 240 hz. I just want my gpu to get to utilizing more

Ok, unfortunately thats not what I suggested and not nearly enough information to further understand whats going on.

I want to see clockspeeds, temps, power draw for both the GPU and the CPU among a number of other things that might be clues.

What is happening during this 37 second window? If the game is on screen and active the fulltime, its certainly being held back somehwere. I can see that getting some more system wide basic information might be a struggle so we may have to just switch to trying things.

Have you a attempted a DDU?
