Some times they can take a minute. I am looking to see if anyone has any news on your board.

CHEESE & RICE!

Screenshot 2025-06-06 144953.png

Motherboard: B650 Eagle AX

CPU: Ryzen 5 7600x

Cooler: Thermaltake Aqua Elite

RAM: Corsair Vengance DDR5-6400 32GB(2×16GB)

I have some (VERY minimal) experience building PCs, and i took on a build project for a family friend. Finally got everything together and turned it on for the first time, and im seeing several issues:

My motherboard's error lights are coming on, and the fans aren't spinning on/lighting up.

I suspect the fan hub isn't plugged in, but i won't have a chance to properly check until later tonight.

As for the MB lights, the CPU light comes on for about 1 second before THE DRAM light comes on and stays on. I've tried reseating the CPU and the cooler, as well as swapping/testing the RAM sticks.

Thankfully the build isn't on a heavy time constraint, but im looking for any help I can get to try and fix this.

I know this sounds silly but did you check to make sure you had the RAM in slots A2 & B2?

Could just be bad if they are in the right slots.

I won't be able to check until later tonight, but i previously tried individually testing each stick in all 4 slots and nothing worked

Check which memory slots you are using.

Gigabyte as a little indicator silk-screened onto the motherboard to use these slots first.

Do you have EXPO / DOCP enabled?

What happens if you disable EXPO / DOCP?

DDR5-6400+ is still uncommon to reach on Ryzen 7000/9000-series, without brute forcing it.

I learned that myself recently trying to run EXPO DDR5-6400 CL30 on my 9800X3D.

That is a great test to try. How long did you wait for boot? Some BIOS are a straight pain to boot up and can take a hot minute too boot. I have a (which I have to update here) a Ryzen 5 8500G X870 64GB and when I change my RAM speeds it takes 1.20 minutes to except the new change.

Did NOT know it'd take that long. I waited ~15 seconds on each RAM slot on each stick

I dont know what EXPO/DOCP is. I haven't been able to boot into bios and dont have an OS installed yet.
