busted sony xm5..help

Hello 

 

I am looking for any tips on how to fix my headphones, they broke like in this picture, when researching it seems that many people had the same break in the same area, im thinking maybe super glue and duct tape? They do swivel at that particular spot, i just lost my job so I cant get new ones sadly, any help would be great, the audio is still excellent.

Before attempting repairs I would reach out to Sony, they don't require a lot of specific info for warranty claims and are pretty generous in issuing replacements. I've had my XM4's replaced about 3 times now due to issues beyond my control, it's likely the same is true here if you ask nicely.
