Nvme upgrade

So i need more space and i will be buying a new nvme ssd . 
1.should i buy a heatsink* (I have the b550 aorus elite v2 which only have one heatsink)?
2. if it is better is there anyway i can only switch the os for nvme1 to 2 without uninstalling the whole thing?
3. is there any difference in speed between the first nvme slot and the 2nd?
Also taking recomendations if u have any :abt 100 euro 1 tb or 2 tb if like 120 (Portugal/spain prices)
*I dont really plan on buying the best of the best nvme's.

you should only need a heatsink if your getting a gen 5 ssd. there is a speed difference between the first and second slot on your motherboard because the first slot goes directly to the cpu and the second goes to the chipset then to the cpu.
