Built me a new computer with some old hardware, one of which being my boot drive

I boot into windows, but for some reason, I am not connecting to the Internet, not sure what’s going on. I grabbed a different drive did a clean install and it connected to the Internet perfectly fine not sure what to do

I am hardwired and I also have Wi-Fi

It's possible that the driver isn't installed. If you can check your devices in system and you'll find unknown devices.

If I'm right then you'll need different computer and usb stick then use that computer to look up manufacturer name like Asus then find asus website once you found it then find your model and search ethernet related driver once done then add usb and transfer to your problem computer and install the driver once you get internet the rest of unknown devices is usually automatically installed by updates in windows or find more on manufacturer website.

I'm jank tinkerer if it works then it works.

Regardless of compatibility 🐧🖖
