Hello all. This week I built a new PC, here are the specs and links:

ASUS Prime B650-M Plus WiFi (link)
AMD Ryzen 5 7600 (link)
ASRock Challenger RX 6600 (link)
CORSAIR RM750e PSU (link)
Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB (link)
Crucial Pro 32GB DDR5 CL36 6000 MHz (link)
Corsair 3000D Airflow (link)

When I first built it and put everything together, it booted first time and I was able to install windows. Fast forward one night, and in the morning pressing the power button did not boot it successfully. The fans would spin, and I could even feel the back of the CPU socket getting warmer. However, the PC just would not output video. I noticed that the case power button LED would just blink forever, not rapidly or anything like that.

On that first boot after putting it all together, I made sure to update the BIOS version to the current version on ASUS's website here. I did that before this problem started, so I'm not sure if I need to downgrade the bios version? It's all really strange because I am able to boot sometimes, just not consistently. When I do boot, I have no problems doing whatever. I have been gaming for 10+ hours and had no problems with crashes or unexpected behavior. I even do some video editing with no problems.

Here's what I have tried so far:

1. Use just 1 stick of RAM in slot A2 (Board says A2 B2 are the slots to use). I tried both sticks individually in this slot, no success.

2. Clear CMOS many times.

3. Unplugging power and holding case power button for ~20 seconds.

4. Reseating every single cable (I can confirm that they are all where they should be)

5. Booting with just monitor plugged in (DP)

6. Reseating SSD, GPU, RAM, CPU

So far, none of this has gotten rid of the issue. To get the PC to boot, I just have to keep turning it on and off and eventually it will boot. I gave a video of what I see on many such attempts (apologies for the dog barking).

Aside from some fans, I have nothing else other than what is in the specs about in my machine. I notice that my keyboard and audio interface have their power LEDs lit while I am turning off and on as well (not sure if that is relevant).

If you have any advice, I would appreciate it. Thank you!

there should be small leds on your motherboard on either the bottom or right side, are any lit up when it doesn't post?

I was thinking this as well, but this mobo doesn't seem to have any LEDs on it. Unfortunately, confirmed it by reading through the manual 😞

I updated Chipset drivers manually with a download from AMD website, then today I ran the AMD Install Manager and noticed another Chipset Driver update. Still having the same issue. I'm considering a RAM or Motherboard issue, I noticed today while trying to edit the bios that my changes to the frequency weren't saving. I'm not sure if that is a common issue or if the mobo/RAM i got are cooked

I haven't actually gotten it to boot once with the igpu, on the first boot and the inconsistent ones, I used the dedicated. I will try that.
