What is a more modern and affordable gpu to upgrade to that makes sense. Thanks everyone!

From a 2080 Ti, which is still a strong card, I would not get any less than a 5070 or 9070 *. If you consider that 'affordable', I can't say.

* For example, TPU's GPU database has a 5060 Ti 16GB as just 12% faster, or a 4070 as 28% faster.

I want to upgrade to a more modern gpu. Im running a rtx 2080 ti now but running newer games like oblivion remastered is using 86 to 94% of my gpu. What is a more modern and affordable gpu to upgrade to that makes sense. Thanks everyone!

Oh whats that? You dont wanna spend 3k or more USD?

Can we have an estimate of a budget cause affordable is a very relative term?

Also what does the rest of your system looking like? Whats PSU you rocking and how many watts?

What if YOU were cake all along?

Thank you for actually being helpful and not dramatic like the last reply.

Aight my guy srr for being extra and having a more playfull personalitty or in your words "a dick" than most but nah I'd rather not be dull and boring  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Still tho didnt get a proper answer to able to help you out to a satisfying degree

Can we have a budget and what your system is looking like? Cause this

Is a good suggestion but if you use 8 or 16 gigs of ram and smt like a 4790K then you need more than just a GPU upgrade

Edit cause I almost forgot: Its also a good suggestion if you fall under this as @Tetras said

Which again we need a budget and where you live (country not adress) to determine

What if YOU were cake all along?

Also I feel the term affordable means the mass majority of people can afford it more or less

Im running a ryzen 5 5600gt cpu, 64gb ram, gen 4 2tb ssd, msi modular 750 and the rtx 2080ti. I can't remember the motherboard off the top of my head but it's an asus TUF board.

Thats at least smt we can work with

Cause we still dont have a budget or area I'll make a few suggestionds and diff price points (rough estimates)
For the lower end we got 5060 Ti 16gb which overpriced as it may be for brand new cards is your best bet

Going up a bit your options are a lil like this

7800xt

9070

5070

if you are willing to used then we also got 6950xt ,3080 or 3080 Ti, maybe a 4080 or 4070 Ti

Other options border on 750 USD+ so I'l refraind cause idk what "affordable" means for you

What if YOU were cake all along?

Affordable just means you can afford it

For some a 450-500 USD GPU is "affordable" for others a 300 USD is pushing in terms of what they can spend

You cant define what is affordable unless you specify for who cause for you and me a car is expensive but to jeff bezos its at best petty change
