I have a weird issue. My connection works fine when my Mac is plugged into ethernet or a different network than my home one, but whenever connected to wifi I have a whole bunch of connection issues. One example is whenever I try to open websites I always have to turn my wifi off and back on. Another example is when I join discord calls it takes minutes on end to connect. I checked the discord console and it kept saying, "WebSocket is closed before the connection is established"

You'll need to elaborate more on this.

Are you saying WiFi and Ethernet connectivity within your home? Or WiFi issues regardless of which wireless network you're attempting to use?

I'm just having issues when connected to my wifi network specifically. When connected to ethernet it's fine and when using someone else's wifi or a hotspot it works fine.

Try rebooting your Wifi router and/or modem and try again to see if it improved.

It is also possible that there are interferences at your home on the same frequency as your wifi.

Good luck !
