Wireless/Bluetooth PCIe card

Go to solution Solved by prolemur,

Thanks for clearing any uncertainties about this product. Any antennas you recommend? I won't be able to deal with a white antenna and black PC case.

Not really most antennas work the same and just as well. If you don't mind really long antennas, 9dBi would probably be the way to go.

Just make sure it supports 802.11ac, 802.11a/b/g/n, the wireless speeds you want (ex.300mb/s) and that it has the same connector the antenna that comes with it does.

I've been looking for a wireless and Bluetooth PCIe card and this is the only one i can find:

Intel 7260HMWDT1

Is this a good solution? Also, is there a way a can replace the antenna with a black one, and are there better options?

it doesn't have to be wireless ac if you find any other as long as it has wireless n

I'm pretty sure this is what most notebooks have in them and is very good and reliable since it's from Intel.

You can replace the antenna with a black one or any other dual band rp-sma antennas. If you're getting a new one you might as well get a better one too :)

Also if you don't want to spend more money on a new antenna somehow painting or sleeving this one could be an option for the cables at least.
