Budget (including currency): 2 to 2.5k CAD TAX IN. 15%tax

Country: Canada

Hello everyone trying to help a friend build a pc. Previously had one but sadly got destroyed

Located in Canada, Budget would be 2k to 2.5k CAD Tax in. There's about a 15% tax

Light regular usage Mostly basic games : Rivals, OW, some older campaign here and there but would really like to be able to play GTA 6. I know it can be hard to judge performance for a game that isn't out yet looking at recommended specs it would be around i7-12700K/R7 5800X & 4070 12GB/7800XT. He is used to having AMD but doesn't mind either way

will probably go with 2-3TB ish total storage (2.5 ssd & m.2). 32GB Ram

Doesn't mind having an "older" socket for cpu. Doesn't plan on upgrading it. I do have discounts on Storage, RAM & PSU So the emphasis and help we're really here for would be the best Bang for the buck (CPU/GPU/MB) combo Run GTA 6 1080p MAX 144fps. (wifi on MB isn't a necessity)

Already have a case at 175$.

No Monitors, Accessories or OS needed

Thank you very much for your help !

Something like this would be a damn good gaming machine.

This build can be tweaked of course but just showing that you can get a damn good build for the money, even with Canadian rubles.

The Ryzen 7600 comes with a stock cooler and is amazing for its price.

Check this 10 game average with an RTX 4090 by Hardware Unboxed.

Yeah, its almost at the bottom but it keeps up with CPU's twice its price.

Its the best value CPU on the market right now.

The B850 boards support PCIe 5.0 for the gpu which is a plus seeing how these new RX 90XX cards support PCIe 5.0.

Hello... I see that you want a new Gaming PC. Given your budget I would recommend the Ryzen 7 5700X3D. This CPU will be your best option for Gaming if you don't ever plan on Upgrading. I don't know what Case you have but I hope that it will fit a Standard ATX Motherboard and has room for extra Fans. The Build I have for you will Play any Game at 1440p and even 4K if needed. I paired the R7 5700X3D with the AMD RX 7800XT. The Motherboard may need to have the BIOS Updated because of Old Stock so that the R7 5700X3D CPU can be used but I don't think you would get an Older Version Board.

Have a Look and let me know what you think. Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have. I can be reached much faster on Discord: Wizardsnapper#2772 as I have this open 24/7.
