CPU Recommendations

Hey guys so I recently got my hands on a Gigabyte 5070 Aero. I haven’t really kept up with CPUs these days and am wondering what would be a good match. I’ve had experience with bottlenecking and I don’t want to encounter that again. I mainly play COD on 1440p if that helps thanks!

Not really that CPU intensive and in 1440p the GPU does the heavy lifting

A ryzen 7600 is a good option

Good chip that can run even 4080s and 5080s without a noticable problem and you get the AM5 platform that has more future support and upgrade paths

I'd get a 9700X (only 20 bucks more than a 7700X) for the 8cores

On a budget 9600X is fine ($70 less), again 7600 is only $30 less
