Graphical errors when changing what is displayed on screen

I have no idea how to describe my problem properly and i wasn't able to google it to find a solution hence why i am here and i will try my best to describe it.

I've reinstalled windows recently and now, whenever something on the screen changes, there is a big chance that what was previously shown will linger on the screen for a long long time if i don't tab out and tab back in.

I don't know what causes this and i tried uninstalling (using DDU) my graphics card's (RX 7900 GRE) drivers and then reinstalling them (twice) but still, the problem persists. I even downloaded an older version of the driver that worked perfectly fine before i reinstalled my PC.

This issue is absolutely not present in games. it just doesn't happen at all when a game is open.

When i reinstalled windows the only driver i installed was the GPU and some yellow question marks in device manager later after i noticed the problem (it didn't fix it)

help?

are you connecting it with Hdmi or DisplayPort? and do you have different cables to test with.

see if someone you know has a Cdmi cable to try with and did you change your display from 60Hz to 100Hz?

Strangely enough, i have these frequencies here.. i remember before i reinstalled my windows i had 99.98 Hz and 60 Hz or something like that and it worked fine.

Could the problems be related to this ?
