Ive been rocking Wd blue 2 tb nvme ssd for awhile but recently its got pretty full so i added Pny 1tb sata ssd to the mix and transferred old video files that I used for editing that I don't use anymore

but since I put the ssd in my pc has been running so slow. if i want to open up chrome it takes a couple seconds. if i open up premiere pro the application sometimes crashes from how long it takes to boot.

And if I try to scroll threw the properties of a video file on the nvme File explorer often stops responding itself (I do this often to see how big a video is see the bitrate)

and none of these were happening before I got the new ssd

run CrystalDiskMark and see how they bench.

And then go from there.

As a test:  unplug the PNY sata cable from the mobo and see if it runs any better?

I unplugged the Sata ssd and it still has the issue.

and here is the disk benchmark

There is an issue somewhere else. Probably the ram is the issue. Your speeds are incredibly fast which means the SSD is just fine.

MY PC:

Ryzen 9 3900X 12 Core PBO Enabled

ASUS RTX 4070 DUAL OC

Asus Prime x570 Pro Motherboard
