Depends on where you store it.

Indoors with no power or battery connected? It should be fine.

In a garage, attic, or other place that's subject to temperature and/or humidity extremes? Something's probably going to degrade.

Outdoors? Corrosion will kill it.

Buried in the ground? It will be destroyed.

I know these are just "traditional" LCD panels, but I have laptops that are approaching 30 years old and they're generally okay. The ravages of time still take their toll though. (Look up "vinegar syndrome", where the polarizer layers delaminate as their adhesive degrades.)

I store them in their original boxes, protected from light and dust. I can't change the temperature in the region where I live, it varies between 33-36C. The humidity depends on whether it's dry or rainy, but it varies between 57-67%. I removed the microSD card and battery before storing the device. my devices has lcd led ips

You said you have 30-year-old laptops and the LCD is still good and hasn't degraded, but they've been stored unused and you checked them after 30 years, or are they in constant use?

They'll be fine. The most important thing you did was remove the batteries.

Don't overthink it. If the space is a comfortable temperature for you, it's a good temperature for long-term device storage.

Taken out and played with once in a while.

Nothing lasts forever, but your devices won't instantly turn to dust the moment it's been exactly 31 days since the last time you looked at them.

If the display IPS LED LCD is not energized frequently and is stored for many years without use, the liquid crystals will go to sleep and will not respond correctly. Will it generate problems with the pixels and permanent image retention?

Where did you read that malarkey? It will be fine. I've seen LCDs recover from image retention after displaying the exact same interface 24/7 for years. Give it a minute to "warm up" and the liquid crystals will respond normally.

Stop feeding your paranoia about long-term storage.

ChatGPT is not an all-knowing oracle. It's not an answers machine.

It's a predictive text generator that regurgitates what others have written.

Do not use ChatGPT for original research.

permanent image retention

This is not a widespread phenomenon with liquid crystal displays. LCDs "heal" from minor image retention. In order to retain an image in the first place, they need to display a static image for an extended period of time.

You're not going to pull your laptop (or whatever it is) out of its box in a year to find Sad Linus permanently burned into the screen.

what true for problems in lcd led ips many years not use and storage?

Vinegar syndrome from the panel internally delaminating.

Failing support electronics (leaking electrolytic capacitors, for example)

Fluorescent backlight tubes that require a few minutes to warm back up the first time they're used in a long time.

But by far the biggest problem will be you keeping yourself up at night worrying about it.

Just store your laptop (or whatever it is) in a comfortable, dry place and repeat after me:

It

Will

Be

Fine

If you store an any IPS LED LCD panel without using it for a long time (many years), will the pixels develop dead and stuck pixels? Can liquid crystals settle over time, leading to slow response times or "stuckness", where they may not change state correctly when turned on after years of inactivity? Do LEDs and backlights die or lose efficiency?

What is the good temperature range for long-term storage of TFT LCD IPS LED backlight displays? Do manufacturers have a range or does it vary greatly between manufacturers? And what is the maximum humidity without presenting risks?

I do not know the models and manufacturers of the R36S and Powkiddy Q80 displays? this consoles uses 3.5" IPS

Have you ever seen the LCD slow down and become complacent after years of storage? Has the problem been resolved or is it permanent on the display?
